Operations software and automation
One system for inventory and orders, not four spreadsheets.
Operations usually run on spreadsheets, chat messages and one person's memory. I build internal systems that hold inventory, orders, customers and teams in one place, with dashboards showing what is happening today rather than last month. It runs in the browser, works on a phone and fits the routine your team already has.
What I put in place
Inventory control
Products, stock movements, reservations and supplier entries tracked in PostgreSQL instead of a shared sheet.
Orders and customers
Sales orders, customer records and purchase history connected, so support answers questions without digging through files.
Team and permissions
Accounts, roles and permissions that mirror who is allowed to see and change what.
Dashboards and reports
Daily views of stock, sales and pending tasks, built on live data rather than a manual export.
Workflow automation
Internal workflows, approvals and WhatsApp notifications that replace reminder messages sent between departments.
When the workaround costs more
Your inventory count is always a few days behind reality.
Two people update the same order and nobody knows which version is right.
You find out about a stock problem from an angry customer.
Every report you need is assembled by hand, every single week.
Answers to common questions about working together.
Usually not, and it does not have to. Most of the time the internal system handles the parts your ERP does poorly and exchanges data with it through APIs, so accounting stays where it belongs.
That depends on how closely the software follows your real routine. I map the process with the people doing the work, remove the steps that only exist because of the current tool, and keep the interface simple enough for daily use.
The estimate depends on scope: modules, integrations and how many people need access. After a short call I break the work into stages with a scope-based estimate, so you can start with the module that hurts most.
Get your operation out of the spreadsheets
Describe the process that costs you the most time each week. I will tell you what can be automated, what should stay manual and how a first module would look.
